Jeffrey Gorwit, M.D.

Dr. Jeffrey Gorwit completed his undergraduate degree at Cornell University where he was elected to the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society.  He received his medical degree from the State University of New York where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  Dr. Gorwit completed his internship and residency at University Hospital in San Diego.  He completed an NIH fellowship in Cardiology at University Hospital, San Diego, one of the world’s foremost medical research centers.  Dr. Gorwit is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine.  Dr. Gorwit began Escondido Cardiology Associates in 1976.  He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and San Diego County Medical Society.
