As part of our mission to understand and treat cardiovascular disease, Escondido Cardiology Associates actively participates in Clinical Research Trials.  Clinical Research Trials test the safety and effectiveness of investigational medications, devices, and treatment regimens prior to FDA approval.  Our Clinical Research Department is committed to quality, accuracy and efficient completion of Phase II through Phase IV clinical protocols.  For over 30 years, our medical group has enrolled patients in clinical studies for the treatment of angina, myocardial infarction, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, hyperlipidemia, and congestive heart failure.  These studies provide an important role in the potential improvement and treatment of cardiovascular disease. 

We invite our patients to learn more about the Clinical Research studies ongoing here at Escondido Cardiology.  Clinical Trial participants take an active role in their own health care while gaining access to new and cutting-edge medical treatment.  More importantly, Clinical Trial participants help others by contributing to medical research.
